...I has a pleege.

(I'm always the last one to get it.)

Never mind, one thing to raise my spirits was a random encounter with a previously unknown Who fan outside the office building as I was headed out. Random person with a Seal of Rassilon tattoo who was complaining that most of her friends don't know what it means. And I diiiiid.

Food squee

Cadbury's Creme Eggs.

Just in time for Easter.

Finally got some.

(trust me on this, they're hard to find in my neck of the woods.)

Getting the hang of this Web 2.0 thing, maybe

http://brewsternorth.livejournal.com, which will be publishing some of this site's content to a wider viewing community.

(Yay Qumana for facilitating it.)

Arrived at City of Angels

... and initially wondered if a little divine intervention mightn't've come in handy with regard to the workings of certain technological devices. Oh well. Problems solved, now settling in.

Shaun Lyon's apparently in the lobby chillin'. Will have to pop by and say hello. (He's the Gallifrey maven.)

Speaking of chill, it's a balmy 61F by the hotel pool!

Photos to follow.

Happy Valentine's Day to all.

File under "who knew?"

Was in conversation with parental unit and sibling unit over an evening meal last night.

Turns out ickle me was absolutely mad-keen fer books from before I can remember.

Insisted on being read to, then insisted on reading something big enough to turn the pages of, and was particularly keen on reading in bed (still am). Not as sociable as the average, but reading from books from an early age.

(Ahem. Somewhere I still have a couple of children's exercise books wherein I was attempting to write the illustrated adventures of my then collection of teddy bears and their friends. Sort of as though Christopher Robin had attempted to take over from A.A. in writing the adventures of Pooh et al. I was in primary school at the time.)

One likely conclusion: I are orfuh. It woz destinee.
